I’m Mary Headd, a graphic design professional with over 20 years of experience. I’ve held roles in industries like financial & retirement services, engineering consulting, agricultural distribution, education, membership-based businesses, and non-profit. I’ve designed, written, and produced print & online materials for service-related businesses (proposal and qualification work, corporate branding, reporting), product-based businesses (direct ads & messaging, product catalogs & trade shows), and community-based businesses (event marketing & promotional products). I see the big picture without getting lost in the weeds, but also can identify fixable issues in the details.

I took the leap in 2024 to start Mary Headd Consulting (MHC), providing brand strategy and graphic design services to small and medium-sized businesses. Continued learning, technology implementation, and a love of problem-solving highlights my professional journey. At MHC, collaboration brings me joy as I partner with business owners in a stress-free way to create eye-catching logos and build brand identities.

Some of my favorite projects so far: advertising a CT-based website’s new classified section through a .gif ad, digitizing a logo to brand a Ohio online show that highlights local businesses, and restoring a law firm’s website from a past consultant, to name a few.
